Chococurb Revisited

I was delighted to find this in the mail today from the owners of Chococurb! There was a handwritten note that expressed appreciation for using their service and of course truffles!

So I need to preface this by saying that my day job is a packager for the healthcare industry. I have designed packaging and labels for many kinds of products intended for clinical trials. I don't claim to know a whole lot but I know packaging.

This package traveled from Seattle to the east coast via the US Postal Service Priority Mail. I have to be a nerd and say that this box is awesome! I love the colored logo embossed on the box. The top and bottom of the box also feels solid and reinforced. Definitely good for shipping delicate product across state lines. This will definitely keep chocolate insulated from extreme temperatures that may alter its taste and appearance. Lastly, I love the grass that matches the logo and will keep this little guy from rattling around too much in transit.

Thank you so much for this gesture! I can't wait to use this service again. I also can't wait to eat this truffle. I will save this for Easter.

So we finally ate the truffles. There were two in the box. One was covered with white chocolate and the other covered with dark chocolate. The husband and I ate half of each so we could try both. They were St. Germain Elderberry - Apple. Just as I expected, both were exquisite.
